We’re proud to be manufacturing our new sets of very durable soft washable
Letter Road mats in Yorkshire.

Similar to our plastic sets (for £51.99) these mats are flexible. They’re like a permanent mat,
except the children can still lift them up and move them around to drive from one letter to another, making
learning phonetics nothing but fun fun fun. They’re non slip too.
Whether you want to word build or just learning one letter sound at a time, we think this is a fabulous sociable way
for little boys and girls to learn to read.
These mats can be ordered in sets of a minimum of 6, so if you want to spell out a child’s name, simply
order the letters you want. We can have them printed and can usually turn your delivery around
within 2 weeks. The whole Cushioned Mat Alphabet set will cost £125 plus VAT and P&P and individual mats cost

Charlie Neil Meets Marti

Charlie was central TVs first ‘weather girl’. She has said that she treated it as more than just a job and confesses to being a bit of a meteorological ‘anorak’.

However, her career has involved a lot more than just tv and radio. She has done voice-over work and appeared as a guest at many shows and events all over the region.

Happy Pegs Ltd. were delighted when she agreed to record a voice-over for our short video of the “Marti Follows The Road To Egypt”, Geography Roads book. Which promotes Early Years reading and instills a recognition of letter shapes and phonics.

Allison Carmichael Illustrates Geography Roads

Happy Pegs Ltd. were very lucky to secure the fabulous artistic talent of Allison to work on the newly launched “Marti Follows the Road to Egypt” book.

This is the first in the Geography Roads series of books, intended to encourage young children’s reading in a relaxed and beneficial way.

Allison Carmichael is a British artist, designer and illustrator who lives and paints in South France. She is a fine art graduate of Goldsmiths University College, London.

Allison is available for work as an illustrator, designer and website designer. She works in many mediums, from oil and acrylics on canvas to computer art in Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Flash.

Allison is inspired by the beautiful landscapes of Southern France, where she lives and by the beauty of the human form.

Allison illustrated and co-wrote ‘The Da Vinci Game’, designed the cover and 19 illustrations for ‘And Anyway About Me’ by Tara Shilling and is featured in Martin Dawber’s Big Book of Contemporary Illustration.
